Tee-m work raises thousands for charity
The sun shone, the donations flowed, and we all needed shades to look at our CEO’s shorts! Everything was set fair for a successful Perrys golf day, and once again we enjoyed a fabulous event from start to finish.
Twenty-two teams took part in our annual summer fundraiser, with players of all abilities tackling the 18-hole course at Chart Hills Golf Club, Kent, in a day filled with competitive spirit and philanthropic goodwill.
Following the competition, guests enjoyed a three course meal while further funds were pledged during a charity raffle. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of everyone involved, an incredible total of £4,852.23 was raised for our nominated charity, Family Matters.
We’re so grateful to sponsors and raffle prize donors Prestige Guarding, My Sherpa Limited, The Mercer Restaurant, Café du Monde, The Gallery Hair & Beauty, and Utilize. Huge thanks to you all!
The event was organised by a dedicated Perrys team, but we’d like to say a special ‘thank you’ to Caroline Hoare, who co-ordinated everything on the day and did a fantastic job as usual. Here’s Caroline enjoying a rare moment of peace!
Congratulations to the overall winners of the tournament, Monarch Chemicals, whose team comprised Paul Amos, Phil Copeland, Jon Hill and Phil Cunningham.
Stewart said: “It was a great day and we are absolutely delighted by the generosity of all the people involved. We are sure that the funds raised will go a long way to supporting the very important service that Family Matters provides to the Kent community.”
Family Matters offers care and support for people who have suffered sexual abuse, with services across 14 boroughs in Kent, Surrey and South East London helping over 4,000 people each year.
John Doody, the charity’s Chairman, said:
“We are so grateful to Perrys and the wonderful people who came out to support Family Matters during the golf day. It was a highly enjoyable event and we would like to thank everyone for giving so generously and making such a difference to the charity.”
Here at Perrys, we like to provide exceptional support not just to our clients, but to the wider community, too. If you’d like to find out more about our work as Chartered Accountants in Kent and London, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
