The Team at Perrys Chartered Accountants in Historic Dockyard Chatham

Our Historic Dockyard Chatham branch is run by Alex Skinner who is supported by a fantastic team including Darren Edwards, Dane Beard, Thomas Perkins, Scott Jordan, David Hall and Betty Relf.

Every member of the team is exceptional as standard and sees their role as being an invaluable resource for each one of their clients. As a long established and trusted local accountant, this office benefits from being part of a seven branch network which means that clients can benefit from the expertise of the entire Perrys structure.

We specialise in CIS, working with construction clients to manage their bookkeeping, PAYE, VAT returns and much more.  Clients welcome our reasonable fees and the fact that we don’t charge for an annual business review.

Our client base

As long established accountants, we attract many business and private clients from the surrounding towns. Although we do not specialise in any one area, preferring to offer our services and expertise to businesses of all sizes and from all sectors, we do attract more than our fair share of start-up businesses – usually as a result of a recommendation from the owner’s bank manager, friend or solicitor that they have an informal chat with us to get their business established on the right footing from the word go.

Whether you’re an established limited company, a home-based husband-and-wife run business or you’re just starting out, if you are looking for a team with immense experience, both at local level and as part of a seven-strong branch network we’d love to talk to you. Many of our clients do not employ a financial director or financial controller and so are in need of a range of the services that we offer in-house, including payroll, financial and proactive accounting advice.

Is it time for change?

Whether you’re looking to move from your existing accountant or this is the first time you’ve considered using the services of an accountant, why not book a complimentary meeting to find out more about our services?

This provides an opportunity for us to answer all those questions you have been storing up and also to receive a wealth of detailed advice, bespoke to your business and your situation. We will enjoy learning about your company and recognise that this meeting offers the chance for us to get to know you and your business, as well as offering you the chance to get to know us.

We will look at how we can save you money – and not simply by reducing your tax burden but by analysing the complexities of your financial affairs. We will provide you with a fixed fee quotation, in which we itemise the cost of each piece of work. There is also the option of benefiting from additional tax advice and any other services discussed at an agreed hourly rate. As a branch we have a great networking group from which our clients benefit.
