First class results for ace accountant Daniel

We’re delighted to share news of a second outstanding exam achievement for our Tunbridge Wells-based accountant Daniel Powley.

Daniel, who joined us as a trainee in 2013, received the joint highest mark globally when he sat the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Advanced Tax Paper in June.

The exam was taken by thousands of students across the world. Daniel scored an exceptional 91 marks out of 100 – an achievement which will now be recognised by the ACCA with a certificate of merit and £200.

It’s the second time this year that Daniel has triumphed in exams. Back in January he achieved the joint highest mark worldwide for his ACCA Corporate Reporting paper.

The latest result means Daniel is now a fully-qualified accountant, and an integral member of our talented team here at Perrys.

Commenting on his success, Daniel said, “To come top of the class for my first paper was a real buzz, but to achieve the highest grade once again is really unexpected. I am so delighted with my results and looking forward to continuing my work at the practice as a fully-fledged accountant.”

Simon Hayden, Partner at the Tunbridge Wells branch, added, “Dan should be really proud of himself. It is an incredible achievement and we are all absolutely delighted for him and offer him our warmest congratulations. We have no doubt Dan will continue to do well in everything he does and will be a credit to our practice, and invaluable source of expertise to his clients.”
