It’s time to get voting! Brilliant businesses in Kent announced as finalists for Exceptional Award f

Since we launched our exceptional awards earlier this year we’ve had some wonderful nominations for Kent’s outstanding charities, individuals and services.
And we are now delighted to announce those shortlisted in our final category – Perrys Exceptional Business.  Our three finalists are:

Fiona’s Make Up Fairies based in Canterbury

Fiona Wilkinson started working for Avon to get her out of the house after suffering post-natal depression. Since then she has gone on to build an award-winning franchise and now has a team of more than 70 people working for her.

Fudge Kitchen based in Caterbury

Serving up tasty treats since 1983, the Fudge Kitchen provides a “multi-sensual experience” for visitors and customers. Nominees said the shop staff deserve recognition for their enthusiasm and hard work, as well as they entertaining in-store demonsatrations.

St John’s Pharmacy, based in Sidcup

Receiving five star reviews from its customers, St John’s Pharmacy has been described by its nominess as going “above and beyond” for patients. Staff also work hard to ensure every customer is happy and healthy.

It was wonderful to read the nominations made for each of these businesses, but it is now down to the public to decide which should take home the exceptional title.

Voting is open and Kent residents are being urged to get involved.  Perrys CEO Stuart said:

“These awards are about recognising those in our communities that go the extra mile to help others, so it’s only right that the community decides who wins.
“If you use, visit or have benefitted from any of our three finalists’ businesses listed above, make your appreciation for them known by casting your vote.  They are all worthy winners and to have made it to the shortlist is testament to their excellence, but there is only one trophy and it is up to the public to decide – so please get voting!”

Perrys Exceptional Business is the last category in our awards open to the public vote. The winner of the accolade will be announced at an awards ceremony in November at Leeds Castle, where the winners of Exceptional Charity, Individual and Service will also be revealed.

To vote for one of the shortlisted Exceptional Businesses, email exceptionalawards@pmwcom.co.uk with the name of the nominee displayed in the subject line.  Voting closes on Sunday 9th October 2016.
