Making Tax Digital (MTD), What Is It All About

Hopefully by now you should be aware of HMRC's new initiative to make it easier for individuals and businesses to get their tax right and keep on top of their affairs.

With the 1 April 2019 deadline looming for MTD for VAT where all UK businesses with a taxable turnover above the VAT threshold of £85,000 need to ensure their returns are submitted through MTD compatible software - here at Perrys we are holding a free seminar on Monday 11 March 2019 to guide our clients through the requirements and offer a solution.

Xero Demo

Xero is becoming an extremely popular option for businesses to maintain their bookkeeping records and we are delighted to have a representative from Xero attend to give a demonstration on what the software has to offer.

Secure Client Portal

We have already been speaking to a lot of our clients about a new secure client portal, primarily for messages and documents and we are taking this opportunity to introduce our clients to this, how it works and how to activate your account.

The free seminar will be held at Hadlow Manor Hotel, Hadlow, Tonbridge, Kent TN11 0JH on Monday 11 March 2019.

Registration with breakfast will be available from 8.00am and the seminar running between 9.00am and 11.00am with an opportunity for further discussions thereafter.

Perrys' Annual Charity Golf Day for Family Matters

I am pleased to announce that our 8th charity golf day will take place at the stunning Dale Hill Hotel and Golf Club, Ticehurst, East Sussex on Friday 7 June 2019 in aid of Family Matters.

We are now inviting entries of four ball teams - this can be for groups of friends, as well as corporate entities.  We may also be able to accommodate individuals or pairs if this is better suited to you.

The cost of the day is £99 per golfer which includes full English breakfast, round of golf, entry into the hole-in-one competition with a chance to win £10,000 cash and your three course evening meal. We also hold a nearest the pin, longest drive and putting competition, together with a raffle in the evening.

If you are unable to make the day but you would still like to support us and Family Matters by sponsoring a hole, competition or even the donation of a raffle prize, this would be greatly appreciated.
