Perrys Sponsor Food and Drink Awards

I am delighted to say that Perrys are again supporting the Kent Life and Kent on Sunday Good Food Awards this year by sponsoring the award for Farmers Market of the Year.

2016 is the fourth year for these prestigious awards and the Newcomer category last year was won by The Yard in Faversham with the Cookery Studio Kent of Badlesmere and the Paramour Pie Club of Ash as runners up.

Advising start-up business is part of my “day job” and I never tire of the excitement that a new venture brings.  I am very much looking forward to meeting those new businesses as they start their journey.

Kent is renowned for producing food and drink with an abundance of flavour and for providing service at the highest standard.  Having five of our seven branches based in Kent, we look to support local businesses whenever and wherever we can.

So now is the time to nominate your favourites.  As well as newcomer and farmers markets, you can nominate your favourite food or drink producer, your favourite restaurant, chef, pub or hotelier.  Or perhaps tea room or farm shop or even your “Kent food and drink hero of the year”, someone who has made such an impact on Kent food and drink that they deserve this special award.
