Exceptional Daniel comes out top worldwide in accountancy exam
Daniel Powley from our Tunbridge Wells office has achieved the highest mark worldwide for his accountancy examination, ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Paper Joint P2, with a score of 89 out of 100.
Daniel, who joined the practice as a trainee accountant in October 2013, sat the examination in December. He received a letter last month confirming his results and will now be recognised for his achievement by ACCA and receive £200 prize money along with a certificate of merit.
Commenting on his achievement Daniel said:
“I am absolutely delighted with my result. It was really unexpected. I had worked very hard for this examination, but I didn’t ever expect to receive the highest mark in the country, let alone worldwide.”
Simon Hayden, Partner at the Tunbridge Wells branch, added:
“We are all extremely proud of Dan. This is an exceptional achievement and the whole team at Perrys wishes him the warmest congratulations.”
